I am an artist and designer specializing in surface and textile design. I am also a prolific, highly skilled graphic designer with expert skills in illustration, print, web, and typographic layout. My keen eye for design, outgoing personality, time management skills, and leadership qualities give me a real knack for art direction and team management.
As a designer, I'm known for my strong graphic aesthetic, but my background working in consumer goods has trained me to be versatile and flexible in my approach. I also have a fine arts background in painting and pottery, giving me a very strong sense of color and form.
My book, Graphic Knits (Interweave Press 2014), was the most challenging project I've ever tackled. The book was developed entirely as a side project on weekends and weeknights over a 2 year period and demonstrates my passion for creativity, commitment, and concept development skills.
