My process started with a set of mood boards that I created using images from magazines, catalogs, and social media, and a lot of sketching. My initial book proposal included over concept 30 sketches. Along the way, I added several new designs, as inspiration struck. I constantly referred back to my mood boards to maintain consistency in the palette and design details.
